Hi guys! It's been FOREVER since I've last updated with a proper post. I guess Uni has been so busy I really didn't have time!
I mean, exams are in a week's time and I seriously should be studying yet I just can't seem to find the motivation :'( HOW OMG I HAVE TO REALLY STUDY HARD.
oh well.

Anyway, since it's kinda late and I'm already not sleepy, why not update about my life right now?

1) NS

yep, kx finally enlisted. I mean I should have been mentally prepared but he has been by my side for like what, 3 years now? It's damn tough to not receive a reply 10 mins after I sms-ed him (he's a crazy fast replier and I absolutely adore that heh).

sent him in with his parents and it was kinda awkz but OK LAH HAHAHA

FREE LUNCH which was surprisingly not bad.

crazy rushed cuz they were asking recruits to gather but I haven't exactly finished what I wanna say to the boy :-(

yep, anyway he's booking out on 27th Nov and I am really kinda excited cuz the days seem to dragggggggggggggggg. Oh well at least I can concentrate 100% on studying (nope not working)

2)  Buffet Brunch @ Hilton Hotel

Treated the boy to buffet brunch on the last Sunday before he enlisted! Just because he was constantly mentioning that Hilton had good food when he worked at Banquets there, I decided to try it out (plus there was a $50 discount so it was not too bad!)

The meat was damn good!!! especially the pork and beef

absolutely loved the seafood fricassee IT WAS PACKED WITH SEAFOOD GOODNESS

Realized how fast 2015 has passed, it's almost the end of the year. 

I must say that this year has been absolutely wonderful, from work which has really opened my heart to everyone that I've met, to the start of university life that made me step out of my little bubble. 

I guess I'm growing up a little, somehow things that have always pulled me down don't seem to affect me as much. I feel grateful for each and every day, with every single breath I'm taking. 

My life is actually kinda like a routine right now, but I actually really enjoy it. 

Life's good y'all, and I'm not gonna change a thing. 

The last dance

So I haven't blogged since forever just because I have been SOOOOOOOO BUSY.

It's the last month of work and although I am kinda pumped for life in NTU to start, I can't help but feel dread as I count down to my last day in Fullerton. This time. I'm really never going back. And that sucks because so many of my colleagues are going back home for holiday this month. 

I am absolutely tired but I just know that it's gonna be an amazing month! 

Gg for FOC next week too and I am absolutely terrified just because I haven't interacted with individuals of my age AND IM TOTALLY A CHINGCHONG NOW I speak mainly in Chinese with a wannabe-mainland Chinese accent hahaha! 

May the odds be ever in my favor and I would enjoy my camp (and not waste my 1 weeks off/unpaid leave T-T)

Taiwan Trip 2015: Day 6 - 8

Day 6

Xy and I felt a tiny bit better, but we still felt crappy actually.
Nevertheless, we didn't wanna waste yet another day so we braved the discomfort and headed out to explore!
We visited wufenpu WAY TOO EARLY and had to sit at 7-11 for an hour plus for the shops to open LOL. and we didn't buy anything because the fashion was..... meh
Popped by this super famous braised pork rice place for lunch:

The famous 卤肉贩 was only $1.50 per bowl I think? But it kinda disappointed just cause the one we at at the mushroom restaurant was way nicer. And there was too much fats!

Still yummy. Just overhyped

Next, we decided to visit Miramar Entertainment Park which was boring! Just went there to look for this shop but they only sold ladies apparel HAHAHAHA.

Then we wanted to visit Taipei 101 (so mainstream but whatever) and gave up when we saw the price tag. I mean $40 for a ticket was just wrong.

so we did what we could do..... Taking selfies downstairs HAHAHAHA

The weather was amazing tho, bright and sunny!

We decided to visit Shilin after dropping stuff that we bought from the supermarket and letting the 2 casualties (wongsie and me) to rest for a little. Tbh we felt damn bad for being such burdens but oh well..... NO MORE EXPIRED YAKULT FOREVER.

 But for some reason, Shilin was so...... underwhelming and boring. Did not enjoy it at all.

This was my face throughout the day. So miserable cuz I wanted to enjoy but I felt like shit

Day 7

LAST FULL DAY IN TAIPEI and it was time for our hired cab to bring us around 十分，九份 & 平溪!
I felt way better and was super glad that I got to enjoy our final day before we fly off!
As usual, we were late while our driver was really early and waiting for us near our apartment HAHAHA but off we go!

So our first stop was this geopark but it was so crowded and we weren't interested so we decided to leave for somewhere else HAHAHA. the view was awesome though ;-)

The boy had to buy drinks non-stop cuz he was always thirsty HAHAHA 

Then we hopped on our cab to the next destination: 

阴阳海

As you can see, the name of this sea is derived from the copper particles present in the water that flows from a river to the sea, which stains the sea water and it is absolutely gorgeous, with streaks of gold dancing in the blue-green sea.

Best thing about having a hired cab, the drivers take awesome photos HAHAHA.

So i was walking out of this tea shop that the guys were grabbing tea and suddenly heard this very familiar voice calling me. AND OMG I WAS SO FREAKING EXCITED TO MEET POLY IN TAIPEI LAH you know how awesome it feels to meet someone you know overseas?!?

And we found the famous popiah ice cream roll hahaha

didn't really like it but the others did so oh well

I was so damn glad that the weather was glorious ❤

AND after shopping for a while WE FINALLY WENT TO GET MY 凤梨酥 which was the MUST-GET item on my list cuz they're so damn yummy ❤

They sell the best pineapple cakes and I love them so much I bought like 5 boxes HAHAHA

Went to another waterfall which I forgot its name

So there was a signage on the swing that states: PLS DO NOT SWING HARD ON THIS SWING, and guess who had to try it out? -_- HAHAHA typical guy

and then we visited the extremely mainstream but super gorgeous:

kx was pinching my face 

the flurry of action when the train arrives, I still dont understand how everyone can keep everything before the train comes HAHAHA

The shop owner was like: come hurry let's take a photo before the train leaves!

Then I forgot where we went again, think Ruifang or i dunno

  (acting like gangsters LOL)

And we went home

Mango and pudding shaved ice! I LOVE THE PUDDING LAH

and at night we had a wonderful apple/pear cider night which made yj speak nonsense while kaixiang fell asleep before it even started LOL and it was just so fun ;-)

DAY 8:

Our last breakfast and everyone didn't really wanna leave :-( I really missed them it was like a big family, all warm and cozy

and we left our apartment and headed to the airport in this bigass luxury van ❤

we felt like a superstar HAHAHAHA

bags and bags of stuff (most of them were mine)

Bye taiwan, we will miss you and will definitely visit again!!!!! ❤

Taiwan was so damn amazing and till now i still wanna go back but oh well. Shall start saving up!
it has been so memorable with the 4 of them, we didn't really know each other that well but this trip made us bond and yada yada. now I just luv them all heh.
