1) Outing with Xueying to S.E.A Aquarium!

Xueying treated me to S.E.A Aquarium for my birthday! At first I used her camera for photos so I don't have much photos of the beginning but oh well! :-) She's always so slow in uploading photos I swear hehe.

 

 

tried to ask xy to help me take OOTDs hehehe but the sun was just too bloody hot!
then we entered sentosa through Boardwalk! ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I was damn damn sian to see the queue for the S.E.A aquarium cause the queues were insane! BUT xueying was so smart cause she smugly showed me 2 tickets and said that she has already bought them! YAY NO QUEUEING NEEDED <3
the aquarium would be reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy nice if we didn't go during the peak season! Seriously all the visitors should really be more polite and stop squeezing people around ugh.
BUT the aquarium was gorgeous!

THEN we finally rested our poor legs and had some tiramisu from The Tiramisu Hero! YAY!
Eating yummy cake while watching the hugeass display of marine life just makes it perfect <3

and omg omg omg this little cutie started to play with me and she was soooooooooooooo adorable!!! Not afraid of strangers at all I would totally want a daughter like her!

I look horrible but oh well........ at least the kid's adorable!

 We walked around for a while more and took our final photos hahaha!

Then we went to take random photos with the displays and the teddy bears in the shop!

we sat down at the place screening shows at different intervals and camwhored :-)

AND we luckily got to watch the show. This stupid dragon thing scared kids :-(

We also camwhored after exiting the place. The wind was super strong and it sucks wearing a skater skirt I swear......

Then we went to Tiong Bahru and found Bigmama Korean Restaurant! The food was really yummy and I will definitely go back again! :-)

 

Dakgalbi! this was yummy teehee! Chicken never goes wrong!

This korean guy came to our table and helped us cook the raw chicken! YAY he was really nice! :-)

Sides were just meh.

AND OH THE SEAFOOD & CHIVES PANCAKE IS LOVELY THIS WAS OUR FAV DISH NOMNOMNOM and it's super worth the value ($15 I think?)!!!!! <3

The korean guy was real friendly and xueying kept saying that he only talked to me and neglected her. what nonsense he was only being polite! 

after the super filling meal, we walked to the mrt station BUT we walked for like 20 mins before realizing that we walked to the same stop OMG WHUTTTTTTTTT???? FREAKY.

trained back home and we had some fruit juice at the void deck! hehehe I remember how we used to do that all the time after work @ NYDC <3

2) It's my birthday! 22nd march.

So as you can see from my previous blogpost on my birthday, I really didn't think anything was gonna happen on my birthday......... 

Xueying came to my house to give me a kinder surprise (OMG IT'S BACK) and she just stayed at my house which I found suspicious hahaha. But I was kinda sian alr and just thought no one would remember my birthday, so I just kept my hopes low.

When xueying suddenly showed me a blindfold and said I had to use it, I ran to the toilet cause I needed to pee hahaha! AND while I was walking out of my parents room, Kx suddenly jumped out behind me with flowers (!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ) He told me that he was working and he acted so real I seriously did not think that he would be coming to my house at all! :O

But it was a real cute surprise I was really really happy and surprised (and I was in my sleepwear. UGH how glam can I get......)

Then he told me to hide in my storeroom till he calls me out HAHAHAHA. so I comfortably sat on the floor till he opened the door with a cake (yay finally hehehe)

I wanted a real special and unique cake........ And he really found one for me!

BUT I was super duper guilty cause I had thought that 20th March was all that KX had planned for my bd celebration and I bitched about it to my sis and xy cause I was so disappointed..... But in the end he just wanted to surprise me lor omg thank you love ♥

He looks so unhappy here HAHAHAHAHA.

We went for our work briefing then I went to meet le family at Jurong Point for dinner @ Fish & Co!

Conclusion: Fish & Co > Manhattan Fish Market!

Now then I realize that there are actually people who reads my blog. I always thought that the blog is just a place for me to rant and talk about my boring life....... Oh well!
so........ my birthday turned out to be quite a wonderful one <3
shall blog about that later, but here are some photos that are really overdue!

1) just went for an interview with Charlynn & kx! Then Kx and I went to Raffles Place Shopping Centre for dinner :-)
BUT before dinner we had desserts first! BEN & JERRY'S WAFFLES WITH ICE CREAM <3

My favourite ice cream flavor from B&J is now maple tree hugger. It is that good I swear!

Then we had dinner at Osaka Ohsho! Stupid boy is always feeling ill when we're planning to have ramen ( initially we wanted to go to try Ramen Keisuke Tori King) :-( so we just decided on Osaka Ohsho since it's just so near plus I have always heard people raving over them!


Their famous gyozas! It was real nice but........

I LOVED THIS MORE OMG THIS IS HEAVENLY. Fluffy egg wrapping yummy japanese steamed rice with some gravy that tasted light yet not bland <3 A must-try if you happen to visit!

Then we went for a walk to digest the dinner that we had :-) Night views are crazily beautiful <3

and after that we went home hehehe :-)

2) kx bought crazily expensive cheesecake kitkats for me and I actually went to get a refund by claiming that our "friend" that we were buying the kitkats for were allergic to them. WHAT RUBBISH, I'm sure the store owner wanted to slap us but seriously, $22 for some kitkats? No thank you. we couldn't get a refund so we traded for something more japanese:

3) random shots of our crazy hike up bukit timah hill with all our bags for advancers camp. we were alr on the hill tho haha.

4) out with kx for my "birthday celebration". (20th march)

it wasn't really a bd celebration lor, he made me real disappointed thinking that's all he's gonna do and I complained abt him so many times! poor thing HAHAHA

but first we went to eat yong tau foo at his dad's stall. AND IT WAS DAMN AWKWARD PLEASE.
But the food was yummy hehehe!

Then we bought fruit juice for my momma and her boss & colleague & we walked to city square mall.

And we went out with his little sister to cineleisure to catch a movie! I swear both of them are real timid. The movie wasn't even remotely scary the only scary thing was how cold the room got....... Hehehe or maybe it's just me since I am not really afraid of alot of things :-)

Then we decorated a cake hehehe! I LOOOOOOOOVE his sister's hair it's just so bloody long and gorgeous <3

After decorating and eating cake, we went for dinner at Watami! the irony, desserts before dinner hehehe :-)

 

and we went home after that!

such a disappointing birthday hahaha.
I dunno why but I just feel..... so empty and hollow inside.

empty spaces

suddenly woke up with this really strong........... feel to write something. So here am I.

My sister and I sleep in the same room, with her sleeping on the bed while I sleep on a mattress on the floor. There used to be a huge space under her bed frame, and somehow I suddenly thought of that space as I woke up just now. That space may seem insignificant but it actually held memories for me which I would cherish.

I remember how I used to roll under my sis bed during hot nights, lying on the cool marble floor and falling asleep under her bed, how I hid from my sister when she was angry with me, how I poked my sister from under her bed through the mattress, how I used to cry in that space with my face buried in my pillow and body curled up in my blanket. I also used to lie in that little space and do nothing but just think about the future. How I would be in 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years. Would I die in a freak accident? Would I get married and have children? Would I be alone and never loved? Would I graduate from poly and would I be working wherever I want? All these questions seemed endless in my mind and it was in this insignificant space under my sister's bed where I actually found comfort. The marble floor may be hard, but somehow it felt just nice for me. It may be dusty but I actually thought that the dusty smell made me feel more at home and at ease.

Now that my sister's bed frame has finally broke from years of endless torturing, that space has been replaced by a new bed. I find it weird that I actually remembered that space but this shows that every little thing matters. What may seem insignificant to the world may just hold that one special memory to someone else. No matter how alone and abandoned you may feel, like you're the only one standing in the whole wide world, just know that there must be that someone who loves you and cherishes you.

so yeah, I miss that little space under my sister's old bed but it'll never be there again. So cherish every little thing and every single person around you, for they may be gone before you know it. And time can never be rewound, once they're gone, you'll never get them back again.

till my heart stops beating

Back from advancers camp and my body's aching like crazy. Seriously I have got to start working out.

But anyway, the camp was not too bad :-)

kinda forgot the details of the camp, so here's all that I remember:

D1:

right foot was hurting so le guy came over to my house to bring me to school! so nice of him right teehee <3

(LOL I actually forgot what we had for breakfast so I just smsed him to remind me LOL)

cooked maggie mee for breakfast and we headed out after eating and slacking for a bit. He seriously thought I was seriously injured cause he didn't want me to carry anything LOL luckily I snatched some things back :D

bused to school and went for prep! it was kinda fun teehee.

Met him and we went to check in to loft with laava and trenna :-) tapao-ed food (yay he queued for ikea meatballs!) and ate dinner in loft.

then.............. we had our first activity which was planning of cca events. boring.

then had to run down for something etc etc

played tug of war and we experienced being pulled like a puppet by the opposing team HAHAHA that was funny yet annoying.

and the night was quite un-memorable so I shall not try to remember it haha.

Oh but xueying & I sneaked out to meet him at night just to chat hahaha.

D2:

played this super tiring relay game whereby we had to run around an area and pass things.

it was easy at first but........ they started passing us heavy things like hard plastic chairs, 8 waterbottles (including 1.5litres) etc. That was totally strenuous yet super fun! I was like the second last to be eliminated lol so proud of myself.

"amazing race" was not memorable, dinner was pizza and I ate a slice, then xueying and I ate cup noodles LOL.

OH and.......... through this camp everyone found out abt le guy and me lor. we tried to be discrete but......... the first night whereby we sneaked out was the final straw I guess. Tho I would have no idea why they wouldn't think about the fact that xueying was with us........ DAMN. I mean I obviously don't mind for friends to know but NOT THE MENTORS AND ETC. that would be so awkward and we can forget about being grouped tgt I swear.

UGH.

oh............ we received this certificate for being exco/leaders and that was nice :-)

But seriously, is "shit" a vulgarity? thats what they claimed in my cca. LAME, HONEY.

D3: 

thought that this day would be real relaxing but I wanted to die cause we hiked on bukit timah hill while carrying all our backpacks and shit. OMG SO TIRING I WANTED TO DIE, ESPECIALLY THAT FLIGHT OF KILLER STAIRS.

and I fell before hiking lor, damn I am clumsy. But I liked the wound!

oh but the morning was lovely. woke up at 5.50 and met le guy for sunrise. didn't catch it in the end but oh well, still had a good time just walking and chatting :-) <3

went home after hiking and lunched, walked around, etc.

actually you know what, I'm too lazy to blog so ciao.
