love runs out

so I suddenly realize that I only have 2 weeks left at housekeeping and omg Imma seriously miss that place and everyone there. It's like I'm so used to the people and place as well as my everyday work. Now to imagine that I have to start over again makes me a little apprehensive and weird.

Actually considered staying but nah, I guess it's time for me to move on to another phase of working life! Since I've almost learnt everything at hkp, might as well spend my last 3 months at somewhere else where I can learn much more! :-)

Anyway, today is my second off day and I went out with my stupid giraffe who was late ytd and I was kinda upset.......

so he bought me a rose to appease me, that pig heh <3
we slacked at home, ate loads and waited for the rain to stop before heading out!
I didn't tell him where we were heading and he was so damn frustrated throughout the ride there LOL poor thing.
but we finally arrived and we visited the 2Degree Ice Art Exhibition!


tbh its damn lame if my mom didnt get us extra tickets i wouldnt have gone but thanks mummy!
it was damn small but CRAZY COLD. even with coats and gloves we were freezing HAHAHA.


got on the slides a few times and got bored alr. and the electricity actually got cut off for like half a minute lol damn lousy!

then we headed to town for CHURROS!

the wait was kinda slow but mmmmmmmmm it's all worth it! 

ps: if you wanna get the cone, don't suggest takeaway cause theyre crudely packed in a box and we had to request for the cone LOL.

ANDDDDD we took a bus to Bukit Merah for dinner at this new cafe that I've just read about!

Pan Delights Cafe

The cafe was kinda small and unassuming but so comfy and sweet.

I would love to have such a cafe near my place someday. Plus this cafe focuses on mains and savoury dishes so its a nice change from cakes and stuff.

prawns in garlic cream ($8.90) 

SO DAMN GOOD THE CREAM WAS AMAZING (but beware of bad breath after this dish)

Seafood Marinara ($14.50 or something)

the sauce tasted canned so....... meh. the pasta was cooked well tho!

Pan's Salmon ($15.90) 

The salmon skin was crispy and so good! But im not a mash person (hate potatoes) and the berry sauce may be a tad too sweet.

dinner was good though, our plates were clean and our tummies were crazy full.

Ps: this cafe does not charge GST or service charge, another plus point!

after this we just wandered around bukit merah till we were bored and headed back home. I wonder why we're always so boring yet it never feels boring.
