DAY 3:
The day started early with xueying and I rushing out at 7+++ to grab some breakfast (which was really yummy, I miss their breakfast toast so much!!!) while the other pigs slept.

It was also our last morning at Kun hotel, and I would really recommend Kun Hotel cause it's located so conveniently near to Fengjia night market! and it's really reasonably priced, we paid $300++ for 2 rooms (5 pax) for 2 nights! :-) The staff were really friendly as well, they helped us hail cabs and we actually met a really bad-tempered one so they got another for us!
Request for a room with balcony if you can, it's really nice to get a breath of fresh air
We cabbed to the Taichung HSR station and bought bus tickets to Cingjing! It was a very long ride and Yj fell sick, he was so nauseous we were all so worried :-(
Very foggy day
We finally reached the bus station where our minsu owner would fetch us to drop our luggages and THE VIEW WAS SO BREATHTAKING ❤
The minsu driver collected our luggages and drove us to 清境草原 to tour around while the room was being prepared! YJ decided not to visit and went back to the minsu to rest (which was good cause it was crazy cold up there).
Decided to grab lunch! the place was surprisingly smelly but hahaha whatever, hot food on a cold day is always a good idea!!!
We were really worried because the weather was super foggy and looked like it was about to rain, but nevertheless we couldn't just waste our day without visiting cingjing, so off we went!

LOL it says that chasing after sheep is prohibited, but seriously I see the sheeps chasing after human way more often HAHAHA.
We couldn't even see anything in front of us LOL. It felt like some kind of shaolin movie whereby some weird creature would jump out in front of us

LOL as you can see everyone was watching the sheep show but us retards were taking shots after shots of the 2 sakura trees. Continued walking as it was drizzling and we found another area with more trees!

TBH I found cingjing to be really boring, maybe it's because of the mist that made the experience way too foggy and cold. But oh well, better luck next time!
After that we had a LOOOOOONGASS walk to carton king and 7-11. where our minsu driver would fetch us back to the minsu (finally, we needed a real break LOL).

Everything was made of cardboard (duh) and it was really pretty but everything was so expensive
KX ALMOST GOT THIS FOR ME AND IT WAS LIKE $60++++ BUCKS I THINK and I dragged him away
And after grabbing stuff from 7-11 we finally found the van that drove us to our minsu:

The ride to the minsu was insanely narrow and scary, I mean the owner must have drove up and down the path a million times so they're so comfortable at driving at a kinda fast speed but ugh it was traumatizing when he sped up and there was no barriers or ledge HAHAHA.
The minsu was extremely beautiful though, the views were insanely gorgeous!
It was F R E E Z I N G C O L D though. They had heated mattresses and that was the one saving grace cause we just hid inside our blankets the entire night and visiting the toilet AND SHOWERING was the worst decision we could ever make HAHAHA.
anyway, this room meant for 6 has 2 bathrooms/toilets so not to worry!
The room comes included with breakfast and steamboat dinner (which was mehhhhh) just cause it's located so damn high and it's practically impossible to visit the nearest 7-11
DAY 4
We were insane and decided to join the 合欢山 (Hehuanshan) tour that required us to wake up at 4am and we were embarrassingly late -_-
SO COOOOOOOOLD
We were absolutely freezing even tho the tour guide provided us with extra jackets! and we didn't get to see anything because it was so damn foggy :-(
LUCKILY we found a nice spot to catch the sun rising as the sky cleared up.
And we were happy penguins
I had 2 thick jackets on and yet I was still freezing. Best decision ever to bring gloves and a thermal jacket to Cingjing despite its bulkiness
BREAKFAST after meeting yj who was so freaking comfy in the warm room HAHAHA.
and that ended our stay in Cingjing, we loved it yet we were so glad to get away from the freezing cold weather
Goodbye, Cingjing. 我会再回来
We took the minsu van back to the bus station and waited bitterly for our bus which took forever to arrive. AND it didn't help that it was POURING hahahaha #suay
But anyway, we finally reached the HSR station, boarded the train and had our REAL 铁路便当！
forever amazed that we're able to eat on board. This bento was yummy and really affordable!
Anyway, we travelled to Taipei and transferred to our next destination: Beitou!
This place is actually real popular among the elderly for hot springs but whatever we still went and met a really cute little boy on the train who claimed that he's a bunny (LIKE ME) ❤ We left our luggages in the resort first and decided to explore Danshui!

Hung out at danshui for the whole day and finally returned to our resort!

and we went into our private hot spring tub for a soak and talked about everything HAHAHAHAHA it was a really good night ❤❤❤
We went down to reception to ask for some Yukatas and it was awesome cuz they were so pretty! was gonna buy one home but realized that it'll be a waste of $$$$ HAHAHA
DAY 5:
Good morning! we almost died posing for this photo cuz our ankles ached like crazy
Headed to Ximending next!
but it was a crazy sad day cuz this was the day that xueying and I fell ill. So it all began when we drank yakult that had gone bad. We felt terribly nauseous but couldn't vomit. It sucked balls. End of story.

This was SO DAMN GOOD yet I couldn't mange a single bite cause I was so damn sick. But I had a huge bowl of this yummy goodness after waking up from a good sleep (lol, the girls opted out from exploring XMD cause we felt like shit), Xy and I was burning up I think we needed a lot of sleep to recover.
ANYWAY, check out my Airbnb apartment! looks damn good no? I loved it but it was a little traumatizing getting there and stuff.
Firstly, we couldn't figure out the actual directions to get to the apartment. Secondly, the owner didn't pick up my calls and gave us the wrong apartment number which freaked us out we thought we were conned (thank god). Finally, the apartment was full of..... baby roaches. and the guys did not deal well with them, we were the ones who killed them......
SICK PEAS HAHAHA
I loved the apartment, it was everything I wanted (EXCLUDING ROACHES) and it was so damn convenient when we figured out how to walk from XMD to the apartment. Plus there were tons of food nearby and it was just perfect.
BUT NO THE ROACHES WERE DAMN DISAPPOINTING SIGH AND THIS WAS THE ROACHES' FAV SPOT
and we only had one bathroom which was so damn troublesome but we survived heh.
anyway, the day was nothing but uncomfortable and painful. After sleeping we felt way better and with some food in our empty tummies, we hoped for a better day tomorrow.
