we went for a company visit at a really far place called Sino-China Eco-city! It's a collaboration between Singapore and China but the visit was soooooooooooooo boring and it ended in like 20 minutes lol we were all like: is that it?
But oh well, we had the rest of the day free so we were all happy of course!

Then, we visited this random cartoon place hahaha it was rather adorable but some parts were damn funny HAHAHA like the cartoons look so chinese!

had lunch at this "Marche" place which is basically a food court with the marche ordering system! look at these cute bear buns! They tasted like crap though HAHAHA.
then the others wanted to go ice skating but I was wearing a dress and I didn't wanna risk falling so I went shopping with Julie, Yumiko and Xinyi.
it was truly boring cause I wasn't in the mood for shopping and the mall was boring. we spent almost all of our time at H&M
then we met the others after their ice skating and we just walked around hahaha.

dinner was this dry instant noodles that I bought from the convenience store! first instant noodles in china if im not wrong hehe

Day 13: wine for the soul

my daily dorm life ❤ love our dorm it's so simple yet cosy oh god I miss the bed right now...
we headed downstairs for our first class: wine tasting. LOL at 9.30am in the morning somemore.
The lecturer was this old American guy but he was so adorable! the lesson was kinda boring though cause he kept on talking and talking.

we tried red and white wine and meh I dislike wine.

lunch with the dining buddies, look at how we love the 糖醋肉/古老肉 it's alr so eaten HAHAHA
then we travelled to Dynasty Wine Company and WOAH THE PLACE WAS HUMONGOUS AND GORGEOUS PLS.

LIKE A CASTLE PLS
we had our internal visit to the factory as well as the wine cellar

so pretty, glass roof!

apparently this place is super popular for wedding shots and I understand. It's absolutely beautiful!

wine tasting round 2 and I liked the white cause it tasted less strong hehehe. (um it hasn't fermented properly so its not that alcoholic LOL)

some meat with this skin for wrapping

veg

stalls we passed by as we walked back to school! a pity that we didn't try these before :-(

and the night was so cold

Day 15: revise and revise

a day for us to all chiong and revise for our TRMK common test! TBH it was kinda rushed for us to study all these within such a short time, but the teachers were more lenient and it was nice to just focus on one module wholeheartedly!

breakfast! I absolutely adore putting my stuff on my comforter to take photos they look so pretty! Perfect background!

FAV FAV FAV CHINA BREAD ❤❤❤❤❤❤ custard bread and it's only like $1.30!!!

cereal milk! I still dislike china milk hehe

hehehe this t-shirt was given to me by the boy, and I love it! ❤❤❤ (omg as I type this I'm wearing the same top right now!!!)  But everyone said that I looked like I wasn't wearing any shorts cause it's too big HAHAHA.

after my bath! taking a photo of the ugly view and my reflection

my legs in China, so much skinnier sighpie

Okay so I remember there was this one night that had a MASSIVE storm! I forgot which day but it was insane! the trees were blown down, rubbish cans flew and WE JUST YOLO-ED AND RAN OUT IN THE COLD OMG that was an experience that I would never forget!!!

Day 16: one burden down, and off to town!

so we worriedly took our TRMK CTs which I felt that I screwed up.
but after the paper I felt damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn relieved so who cares! hehehe

chalkboard! how cute is this?

lecture right after exams.....

then we went out and took a cab! Kevin was at the front and they had this metal bar thing which was kinda scary! we went to 滨江道 and I did some snacks shopping as well as had real yummy eggtarts from KFC!

The peach ones were dope, they had hot and sweet peach jam flowing out like oh soooooooooo good ❤❤❤

day 17: I have no idea

I seriously don't know what I did today, should have kept a diary while I was there damnnnnn

meow, me at night hehehe

Day 18: Indian food & fine dining

we had lessons and the new vice-principal or something of NP came to visit. stress.
after our lessons, we were all invited to a formal lunch organized by TUC! we were served by the students at TUC-FIU!
the server at our table was this really professional guy called Andrew! Think it's cause he's from US so he's sooooooooooo professional and natural like damn why am I such an awkward turtle?

chickpeas salad with hummus

pita bread! I think the ones we made during culinary classes were nicer hehehe

mango lassi mmmmmmmmmph

white!
Everyone at my table got chicken for their mains, but I asked Andrew for some recommendations and he strongly recommended the lamb so I took a risk and......

I DID NOT REGRET IT ONE BIT. It's damn yummy pls I loved the sauce it's super good! the others loved it too and they got extra sauce for their chicken! (andrew would be wonderful in the F&B industry he heard that they liked the sauce and specially got it for them! attentive or what?)

desserts! Egg tart (meh), brownies made by our classmates (yumz) with a scoop of homemade coffee ice cream! YUMMY

then we had photos taken cause..... we just did hehehe

with the dining mates and the new vice principal if I'm not wrong standing right next to me!

Andrew, me andAndrew's girlfriend of 6 years (awwww they said they're gonna travel the world together awwwwww)

cake that was on sale in a cafe! SO OLD-SCHOOL!

day 19: first Mid-autumn festival abroad

After lessons, we had our lunch break and decided to go to our fav canteen: canteen 2!
this cutie was sleeping on the road, peixing and I were so worried that it was injured!

煎饼果子加火腿,超好吃的!

烧卖,但看起来比较像饺子对不?

麻辣香锅!我们的必点之一!
then we had mooncake making! was super excited!

we made sweet potato ones as well as the original ones. But both sucked we were so disappointed with the tastes!

after everything we headed to cultural street cause they said it's gonna be real fun and crowded! um but.......

this shouldn't be called "crowded" yeah?
in the end we went too late lol the stalls have alr closed HAHAHA
so we headed to a mall nearby and......

we had saizeriya! way cheaper there damnnnnnnn

FAT

and we had to rush back cause we were almost late AND there was this stupid fine thing whereby you had to pay $5 Yuan for 1 min of being late!
look at the beautiful sky lanterns though ❤❤❤

Day 20: day out to the zoo!

went to the zoo for our TRMK research, since we were doing a project on Tianjin Zoo's marketing strategies!
have prepared all our hearts after hearing about how horrible it was!

this auntie begging for money. so scary cause she was kinda forceful and it's sad :-(

the park is really big!

so they have buggies for rent! BUT it was kinda expensive damn

flowers!!!
so here are the animals as we started on our visit!

LOOK AT THIS LION IS IT ALIVE OR NOT WHY IS IT IN SUCH A BAD SHAPE, IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S ROTTING!!! worst scene to witness in the zoo sigh :-(

cutie

so damn dirty and the animals all look like theyre gonna die :-(

and the bloody chinese kept on banging on the glass walls, trying to wake the animals up. Hello, can't you just give the animals some quiet time?!?

i felt so bad :-(

smoking is everywhere in china lol. look at how disgusting this is.

awwww but this was an absolute cutie!!!!!!

praying bear who prays for food! SO CUTE

and it's absolutely normal to see kids pooping and peeing everywhere in China. they have this slit on their pants at their butts so that they can poop and pee easily...... kinda gross tbh

flies on the food sold. mmmmmm yummy.......

boats for rent!

now you don't see me......

now you do!

omg that looks like the Aries sign!!

Deers are adorable!

the chinese feeds the animals everything sighpie why oh why.

so fat, so near!

are you that desperate for a photo? check out the girl on the figurine

seriously, this is bloody dangerous!

fat hippo

interviewed quite a few people while touring! including these 2 people tending a stall selling toys hehehe

then, we went to the pandas exhibit!

hahaha china's english!

SO CUTE! RED PANDAAAAAA!

Then I went to visit kx's relatives!

HELLO GIRAFFE!

HEHEHE

GROUPMATES!

in conclusion, the environment is rather nice, it's really pretty at some places but seriously, the animals are no being treated properly AT ALL and that is really sad. a lot should be done to make the zoo better for the animals to stay in. Hopefully, their relocation plans would build a better home for the animals!

the wonderful thing about going for OIP is being so near to your friends and being able to talk to them so easily and quickly by simply knocking on their doors ❤❤❤ miss that so much and miss all my friends omg

Day 21: 鱼碗讨论
HAHAHA AKA fishbowl discussion! this is for our OIE (overseas immersion experience) module whereby it's all about the culture and learning from the country!
this day must have been pretty unmemorable cause i dont have a single photo LOL

Okay tired of blogging ciao guys
